This is my cute dog Maggie. She leaves Wednesday for America with my parents. We are going to miss her terribly! What will we do for our entertainment?! We asked my parents to take her back with them during the "Revolution" (I think that's what everyone is calling it these days). In the event we would ever need to evacuate (very unlikely), we don't know what would happen to her. Also, we have several trips coming up before we leave. Kennels and vet hotels don't exist here, so we rely on the love of friends to care for her. And they do so beautifully. BUT this works out well. Also, we will have a time of transition from our home before we leave Burkina next summer and guest houses do not allow pets. My parents are in for a treat with this 13 pound ball of energy. She keeps us busy! She is going to celebrate Christmas in America. Lucky dog!
